Laholmsbukten - Skälderviken - ca 32 km

Start from the tourist information and take a right towards Torekov. Soon after the roundabout, turn left onto the road toward Erikstorp. At the end of the hill you will be awarded with a fantastic view over Laholm bay and Halland! Continuing on this road straight on, you will soon reach Boarps Hembygdspark, with a school museum, smithy, café etc. From here, turn right.

Look out for golf balls! You’re now passing through one of Båstad Golf Club’s golf courses. Turn left at the crossroads by the golf club’s parking lot. You will continue through the golf course, alongside a beautiful beech forest and a farm on the left. The next intersection has no road signs, but turn right. You will soon reach another intersection by the village of Drängstorp. Here you turn left. On the right hand side you see an old tomb and behind it the beautiful open landscape of Sinarp valley. Take the next road right. At the bottom of the valley is Kåremosse (vad är??) which you will now travel through. Taking a right at the crossroad will lead you onto a cycle path (follow the direction signs here). You will pass by Solomonhög (Solomon Tomb), which is named after the many tombs in the area. Take a left after all the tombs. You are now on the highest point of Solomon plateau.

After the steep hill you reach the village of Grevie. Take the second left (Tranvägen) and then to the right (Timmervägen) at the next crossroad. Following this road will lead you to Förslöv Västra Karup. Continue straight ahead. You are travelling alongside Grevie backar (the hills of Grevie). This “pebble-ridge” was made about 14 000 years ago when the last inland ice started to melt over Northwest Skåne. Continue straight ahead through the crossroads by Killebäckstorp, towards Ängelsbäcksstrand. When you reach the crossroads (with all the postboxes) in Ängelsbäcksstrand, turn right.

What you now see infront of you is Skälderviken bay and the peninsula of Kullaberg. Take the next left. Follow this track through the pine forest until you reach a crossroad. Turn left. Now the road goes steeply upwards. Follow straight through at the four-way intersection, towards Grevie. At the next crossroads you turn right towards Grevie kyrka (Grevie church) and after the church turn left onto the road to Förslöv V. Karup. Take the first right towards Krogstorp. Turn right towards Förslöv at the next crossroad, and after another 100mtrs, turn left towards Böskestorp. You will cross the railways and then pass the village of Böskestorp. Through the pine- and beech forest to the crossroad in Axelstorp, where you choose the road to Bjärred. The road now splits in two; turn left (Axeltorpsvägen) and then right (Brattenborgsvägen). You will pass Ättehögen and Kyrkhögen (old graves from the Bronze Age). Ättestupan, on the left, is where old and sick people were thrown off the cliff to die.
On the left hand side, after the farm, is Brattenborg; a place on the north side of Hallandsåsen from where the view over Båstad is absolutely breathtaking. The road continues. At the crossroad, turn left. Cross the railway, pass through a residential area. Turn left onto the cycle path right before the larger road, and follow it back into Båstad.
